Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project sites. The role involves interaction with staff at all levels, driving safety leadership, and ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in a dynamic work environment.

The position offers two levels (I and II) with compensation based on experience and location. Candidates may be considered for either level based on qualifications and fit. Travel up to 100% is expected for project coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, or equivalent.
• Minimum six years of construction safety experience.
• OR high school diploma with CHST Certification, OSHA 500 and 10 years of construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight across multiple project sites under the Zero Injury Safety program.
• Lead project teams in site-specific electrical safety programs.
• Identify training needs and conduct safety orientation and electrical training programs.
