Job summary

CPG Beyond has an excellent opportunity for a Safety Manager to join our growing team in Boyce, LA. The Safety Manager provides leadership, direction and education on safety practices to reduce risk and improve safety culture across construction projects.

Responsibilities include implementing training, conducting inspections, managing incident investigations, and maintaining safety records while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. OSHA regulations and standards applicable to construction safety.
• Experience writing JHAs, SOPs, EOPs, HazCom, technical reports and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and environmental compliance is a plus.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and communicating with client safety team.

Responsibilities

• Provides site support to ensure field implementation of safety policies and best practices on projects.
• Advises Site Leadership on safety compliance concerns and preventive actions.
• Plans and implements training for employees in worksite safety practices.
• Performs safety surveys and inspections; prepares reports and follows up on corrective actions.
• Performs site risk assessments (JHA/AHA/PTPs).
• Conducts post-accident investigations and prepares reports identifying causes and hazards.
• Maintains safety files and records; assists in emergency evacuation procedures.
• Maintains environmental reports including Storm water permits, SPCC, etc.
• Evaluates incoming contractor safety documentation for associated scopes of work.
