Job summary

CBRE | DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, seeks a Safety Manager to develop and manage accident prevention programs across projects and the company. You will conduct jobsite inspections, coach crews, and lead safety training to minimize injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 7 years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and STS-C or CHST certification, with the ability to work independently and influence field teams through strong

Qualifications

• BS degree or 7–10 years of related experience with 3+ years in a managing leadership capacity.
• Minimum 7 years in construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• STS-C or CHST certification required.
• Experience with union workforce desired.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages accident prevention programs across projects and the company.
• Develop and facilitate safety training programs for field staff.
• Conduct work area assessments and jobsite inspections for hazards.
• Coordinate and conduct safety meetings and training sessions with crews.
• Support incident investigations and manage injury/illness cases.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to employees exhibiting unsafe behaviors.
• Assist with development of Job Hazard Analyses and corrective action plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance during inspections and audits.
