Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Safety Manager to support a Data Center project in Conesville, Ohio. You will work with project leadership, field teams, and trade partners to maintain a proactive safety culture on a complex site.

You will lead inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring OSHA compliance and safety training for crews. Occasional travel to support multiple project sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience on large, complex projects.
• Experience in mission-critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or large commercial construction.
• Data center experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and field-leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with contractors, owners, developers, and field teams.
• Proactive and strategic approach to safety.
• Relevant OSHA training and safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce project safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, orientations, and safety meetings.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Review JHAs, safety plans, and subcontractor documentation.
• Investigate incidents and maintain accurate safety records.
• Provide safety training and support to field personnel.
• Partner with project leadership to proactively reduce risk.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
