Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Specialist to support safety initiatives at large-scale data center construction sites in Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment for employees, contractors, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards.

Training and mentoring teams will be part of the daily activities. Assigned to a Columbus-based training before site deployment, you will identify hazards, conduct inspections, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a construction or industrial safety role.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) certification.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for employees and subcontractors.
• Conduct job site inspections, audits, and safety assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, client, and company safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while identifying corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, coaching, and toolbox talks to project personnel.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
• Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
