Harder Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Project Safety Manager for a data center project in Sparks, NV. You will apply construction safety standards, cooperate with project management and field supervision, and ensure all work is performed safely to prevent injuries.

The role emphasizes proactive incident prevention and regulatory compliance. Qualifications include OSHA 30, OSHA 510, CSP/CHST/OHST, and 10+ years in the field alongside proficiency with MS Office and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for reporting and coordination.
• Extensive knowledge of fall protection, electrical safety, permit-required confined spaces, excavation trenching/shoring, scaffolding, hazard communication, and incident investigation.
• Must meet essential functions and physical requirements; related accommodations available.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site safety leadership to the project team and supervise safety personnel.
• Act as the Competent Person performing regular inspections of job site, materials, and equipment.
• Oversee safety professionals on the project and advise site personnel on safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and contribute to written evaluation reports.
• Lead toolbox talks and site-specific training; promote safety awareness.
