Job summary

Sheakley seeks a Safety Manager for a ground-up data center build in Sparks, NV. This 6‑month project requires a credentialed safety professional with data center build experience and a strong grasp of OSHA 1926 standards.

Immediate start is needed for a 50-hour week on a 1099 contract, with $140/day per diem. Responsibilities include daily site inspections, JHA/AHA reviews, fall protection, crane and rigging oversight, excavation compliance, electrical safety, incident investigations, and

Qualifications

• BCSP certification (CHST, ASP or CSP) or a four-year degree required.
• Data Center Construction Experience required.
• Strong command of OSHA 1926 standards.

Responsibilities

• Daily site inspections, JHA/AHA review, and toolbox talks.
• Fall protection, steel erection, crane and rigging oversight.
• Excavation and trenching compliance.
• Electrical safety and LOTO through energization phases.
• Incident investigation, root cause, and corrective action.
• Subcontractor accountability and OSHA compliance documentation.
• Client-facing safety reporting and audit readiness.
