Harder Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Project Safety Professional for a data center project in Sparks, NV. This field-based role works with project management and craft crews to identify hazards and reinforce safety expectations, with 5-day, 10-hour shifts starting at 5:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction safety experience or similar field safety role.
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support incident prevention through field observations, inspections, coaching and engagement.
• Conduct job walks to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with superintendents and crews to support safe work planning.
• Assist with inspections of job site areas, tools, equipment, and work practices.
• Support PPE assessments and verify proper PPE use on site.
• Contribute to incident investigations and verify corrective actions.
• Assist with safety orientations and site training.
• Develop and review Activity Hazard Analysis documents.
