Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced QA/QC Project Manager (Mechanical or Electrical) to support the Data Center Construction team in the United States. The role emphasizes governance, cost control, and constructability guidance across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include managing stakeholders, tracking milestones, and delivering formal status reports while ensuring best practice application and effective vendor communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of PM experience focused on mechanical systems.
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills.
• Experience in design or construction with mechanical or BMS controls.
• Experience commissioning mechanical systems in data centers.
• Proficiency managing construction documents (drawings/submittals/RFIs).
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Smartsheets.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Communicate across internal teams to ensure efficient delivery to the client.
• Analyze, track and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Verify effective project governance, processes and systems are used.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor multiple construction projects to ensure standards are applied.
• Manage interfaces between suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Forecast and update key project milestones.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, contractors and regional stakeholders.
• Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
• Assist with cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance.
• Review status reports, drawings and costs from providers.
• Develop client relationships to maximize opportunities.
• Strategic thinking to achieve client and business objectives.
• Capture learnings and improve knowledge management and processes.
• Note: SOX control responsibilities may apply where relevant.
