Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Project Manager in Mechanical for our Data Center Construction team to support large-scale projects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with mechanical systems in built environments and data centers.

The role requires on-site presence, strong governance, and coordination with owners, architects, and contractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically with mechanical systems in the built environment.
• Strong organizational and management skills; ability to work effectively with the broader team.
• Experience in design or construction with mechanical/BMS controls experience; or with vendor equipment factories supporting quality control of mechanical equipment.
• Experience commissioning mechanical systems and equipment in mission-critical data centers.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Communicate across the internal team to ensure efficiency and consistent delivery to the client.
• Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Verify governance, processes and systems are utilized on projects.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
• Manage interfaces between suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, and contractors.
