Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical to join our Data Center Construction team. The role demands oversight of large-scale mechanical systems and tight coordination with owners, architects, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in project management for mechanical systems, with strong governance and documentation skills. On-site presence may be required, and experience with cost control and value engineering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment.
• Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
• Background in design or construction with mechanical or BMS controls experience; or vendor equipment factory QC for mechanical equipment.
• Experience commissioning mechanical systems and equipment in mission critical data centers.
• Proficiency managing construction documents including BO Ds, specifications, contract drawings, CDs/Es, equipment submittals and RFIs.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and related PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Communicate across the internal team to ensure efficient delivery to the client.
• Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Ensure use of project governance, processes and systems.
• Provide cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance where required.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
• Interface between suppliers through trackers and weekly reviews.
