Job summary

The Weitz Company is hiring a Project Safety Manager for the Mission Critical division on data center projects in Council Hill, OK. You will provide site safety leadership, implement company safety standards, deliver project-wide training, and support preconstruction safety planning.

You will oversee audits, incident investigations, and the maintenance of safety documentation while promoting a culture of proactive safety across project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to lead safety plans and audits.
• Excellent communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the project safety plan.
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify adherence to safety management processes.
• Assist teams with enforcement of safety programs.
• Facilitate project safety committees and trainings.
• Coordinate site safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Ensure stop-work authority is understood and exercised.
• Maintain site safety documentation (permits, inspections, etc.).
• Conduct or facilitate project-wide safety training and regulatory compliance.
