Job summary

The Weitz Company seeks a Traveling Senior Project Superintendent for data center projects in Boling, TX, joining our Mission Critical team. You will lead subcontractors, uphold safety culture, and partner with the Project Manager to manage schedule, budget, and staff for profitable outcomes.

You will build and maintain strong client, vendor, and subcontractor relationships while overseeing large, complex field operations across sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project superintendent experience.
• Commercial construction experience with a general contractor (GC).
• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team.
• Experience in Data Center Construction is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site.
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the Safety Policy.
• Develop and update the project schedule, resource allocation, and work processes.
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules.
• Oversee daily construction activities ensuring work meets quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, manage performance and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address quality issues.
• Update project schedules using scheduling software.
• Oversee all aspects of project execution including schedules and budgets.
• Supervise field personnel and subcontractors, coordinating all activities.
• Maintain strong communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
