Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Safety Manager for the Mission Critical division to lead site safety on data center projects in Council Hill, OK. The role focuses on implementing safety standards, providing training, planning preconstruction safety, and performing jobsite audits and incident investigations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction safety and OSHA 30 preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills to drive safety across project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creation of project safety plan and maintain site safety oversight.
• Track and trend safety performance and recommend corrective measures.
• Ensure adherence to safety management processes across the project team.
• Draft letters, issue safety violations, and meet with managers as needed.
• Facilitate project safety committees and preconstruction safety planning.
• Lead safety training and support regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate safety inspections and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Empower workers to stop unsafe work and resolve issues promptly.
