Job summary

IES Communications seeks a Project Manager to oversee assigned projects, ensuring work is developed, implemented, installed and managed per the company’s safety, quality, and financial requirements. The role emphasizes staffing, materials and customer delivery goals across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory/managerial experience in telecommunications or related fields, plus strong MS Office/MS Project skills and proven customer interfacing abilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• RCDD certification preferred.
• Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
• Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.

Responsibilities

• The Project Manager will recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline and discharge project staff according to company policies.
• Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
• Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve company goals.
• Review all job cost postings, including invoicing, customer collections and periodic financial reporting.
• Manage quality and safety issues on customer work.
• Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
• Act as the company liaison with customer representatives.
• Create, develop and implement account process improvements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
