Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical data center projects for clients nationwide. The role focuses on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across all project phases.

The ideal candidate will have experience in design-build or EPC projects for data centers, with power delivery, water systems, networking, and civil site development, and will travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects, including leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• PMP (PMI) certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects and programs for major clients in the U.S.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and execute scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage projects from concept through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Lead coordination across engineering, constructors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Manage project financial performance, including forecasting and invoicing.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary project teams and promote collaboration and accountability.
• Resolve complex issues related to integration BMS and EPMS systems.
• Ensure quality, HS&E compliance, and contract requirements.
