Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical center projects for clients nationwide. The role focuses on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience planning, engineering design-build, and/or EPC data center projects, including power, water systems, networking, and civil site development. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP (PMI), certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center projects and programs for major U.S. clients.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover for mission-critical facilities.
• Mentor and lead multi-disciplinary project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Ensure quality, H&S compliance, and client satisfaction through proactive communication.
