Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects nationwide. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across all project phases.

The ideal candidate has experience in design build or EPC data center programs, with power delivery, water systems, networking, and civil site development. Travel may be required, and a PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• PMI PMP certification within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design/construction projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as duties require.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects for major US clients, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Manage project financials, forecasts, invoicing, and risk/opportunity identification.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and maintain high standards for quality and safety.
