Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, mission-critical data center projects for clients nationwide. This high-impact role focuses on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience planning, managing, engineering of design-build, and/or EPC projects for data centers, including power delivery,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing design/construction projects with multi-discipline teams.
• PMP certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional related experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects for major U.S. clients as the primary contact.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and execute scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage projects from concept through closeout, including design, procurement, and commissioning.
• Lead coordination across engineering, construction, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Oversee financial performance, forecasting, invoicing, and risk management.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and promote collaboration and accountability.
• Resolve complex issues related to BMS/EPMS integration and ensure quality.
• Implement project controls, quality, and H&S requirements per contract.
• Maintain client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat work.
