Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects nationwide. The role focuses on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across all project phases.

The ideal candidate will have experience in design-build or EPC delivery for data centers, including power delivery, water systems, networking, and civil site development. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with managing design and/or construction projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects or programs for major clients in the U.S.
• Develop and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across all phases
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Provide governance, reporting, and client coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Mentor and lead multi-disciplinary project teams and promote collaboration and accountability
• Apply project controls, quality management, and health & safety requirements across projects
• Support client satisfaction and repeat business through proactive communication
