Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, mission-critical data center projects for clients nationwide. The role focuses on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience planning, managing, design-build and/or EPC projects for data centers, including power, water systems, networking, and civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects and programs for major US clients.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to define scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage projects from concept through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee project financial performance: forecasting, invoicing, earned value, risk/opportunity escalation.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary project teams and drive consistent project execution.
