Daikin Applied is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead design, construction, and commissioning of mission-critical data center facilities in a hybrid Dallas, TX role. You will direct all project phases, coordinate with third-party commissioning, and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.

The role emphasizes managing complex HVAC systems, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder communications to deliver high-quality, on-time results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive project management in commercial/industrial HVAC/mechanical construction.
• 2+ years of mission-critical data center construction/commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of data center projects from planning through warranty and service transition.
• Coordinates commissioning activities with third-party agents to meet Tier standards and owner acceptance.
• Plans schedules and budgets for HVAC/mechanical construction and resource allocation across phases.
• Reviews drawings, specs, and scope to determine time frames and funding.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safety standards on energized equipment and in confined spaces.
• Prepares proposals, reviews status reports, and communicates progress to management and clients.
