Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex HVAC and data center construction projects in a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities to meet time, budget, and quality goals for mission-critical facilities.

You will oversee commissioning, IST, and Level 5 testing with third-party agents, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years project management in commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical construction.
• 2+ years managing mission-critical data center construction and/or commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of data center projects from planning through warranty and service handoff.
• Coordinates commissioning activities with third-party agents to meet Tier requirements.
• Plans HVAC/mechanical construction with schedules and budgets.
• Reviews drawings and allocates resources for equipment set, startup, and commissioning.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and enforces safety programs on active sites.
