Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead data center construction projects in Fredericksburg, VA, with potential travel along the East Coast. Candidates should have a bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering, at least five years PM experience, and proficiency with project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction, data center focus.
• Experience in ground-up construction, core & shell, interior fit-out, hyperscale data centers.
• Proficient in project management software; PMP a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence and inspire diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of data center construction projects.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and schedules; communicate expectations clearly.
• Estimate resources and manage budget and allocations.
• Plan, schedule, and track timelines using PM tools.
• Direct and manage project development from start to finish.
• Identify dependencies and critical path; manage scope changes.
• Deliver progress reports, proposals, and documentation.
• Conduct post mortems and compile recommendations.
