Job summary

LeoForce in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead data center construction projects, including ground-up, core & shell, and interior fit-out work, with opportunities across Northern Virginia and the East Coast.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in data centers, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with project management software, and PMP or equivalent certification is a plus. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of PM experience in construction, focused on data centers.
• Experience with ground-up, core & shell, mechanical, and fit-out for hyperscale data centers.
• Proficient in project management software and risk management.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of data center construction projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals with stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and schedules, and communicate expectations clearly.
• Estimate resources and manage project budget and allocation.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines using appropriate tools.
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end and assign tasks.
• Identify and manage dependencies and risks, and plan contingencies.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and documentation.
• Conduct post-mortems and produce recommendations reports.
