Job summary

LVI Associates seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects, including data center and mission-critical facilities, in the Richmond, VA area.

You will oversee scheduling, budgets, procurement, and client coordination, working with field teams and executive leadership to deliver projects valued at $100M+ while maintaining safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience.
• Strong understanding of Data Center electrical distribution systems, structured cabling, and white space fit-outs.
• Experience supporting retrofit, expansion, and upgrade projects within live operational facilities.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and project management platforms.
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Excellent scheduling, planning, and delegation skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project-specific policies and procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all jobsite safety standards.
• Review estimates, project proposals, and contract documentation.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and procurement strategies.
• Lead projects valued at $100M+ while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with design requirements and client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with clients before, during, and after project completion.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Manage project billing, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
• Assist leadership with workforce planning and future labor/material forecasting.
• Provide regular project updates and progress reports to executive leadership.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Mentor and develop junior project team members
