Job summary

TPA Technologies seeks a hands-on Project Manager for data center and mission-critical construction on a contract basis. You will own budgets, vendor relationships, procurement, and execution from planning through commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in data center or mission-critical construction, experience with owner/operator environments, and strong Excel/Smartsheet skills. PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in data center or mission-critical construction environments.
• Experience managing project budgets and vendor relationships.
• Direct procurement, purchasing, and sourcing experience.
• Working knowledge of data center infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, BMS, physical security systems.
• Strong Excel and Smartsheet experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate vendor procurement, sourcing, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation.
• Lead commissioning activities and project closeout efforts.
• Partner with Construction, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to drive project execution.
• Track project milestones, schedules, risks, issues, and key deliverables.
• Support readiness planning, turnover activities, and punch-list resolution.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, status reports, and project controls.
