Job summary

Mackenzie Stuart is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in Texas.

You will oversee projects from pre-construction through completion, managing project teams, budgets, schedules, procurement, quality, safety, and client relationships, while coordinating with owners, consultants, subcontractors, design teams, and commissioning partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction PM experience with data centers.
• Strong knowledge of controls, cost management, and contracts.
• Experience managing teams, schedules, and client relations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center construction projects from planning through handover.
• Manage project performance: safety, quality, schedule, budget, client satisfaction.
• Direct and mentor project management and field teams.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, change orders, forecasting, and cost control.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Monitor project schedules, identify risks, and implement recovery plans.
• Support commissioning, closeout, and final turnover.
• Participate in pre-construction, estimating, and business development.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with common construction management and scheduling software.
• Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale or complex construction projects.
• Experience with commissioning and mission-critical environments.
• PMP, CCM, DBIA, OSHA 30, or similar certification.
• Experience managing multiple projects or project phases
