Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Project Engineer to support owner-side project control across data-center builds. You will maintain controls, records, and status to keep decisions visible and actions closed, reporting to Construction Manager or Sr. Construction Manager within the assigned scope.

This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and disciplined follow-up on site in the Tahoe-Reno area. You will assist with tracking RFIs, submittals, changes, turnovers, and risk surfacing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, OR equivalent practical construction/project experience.
• 0–4 years of construction, project engineering, or project controls experience; owner/operator or developer exposure preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to documentation and follow-up.
• Familiarity with Procore (or equivalent project management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, current project records per Fleet standards.
• Track owner decisions, actions, design clarifications, and close items.
• Log, route, and track RFIs and submittals for completion.
• Prepare recurring project reports and status logs for leadership.
