Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on-site team supporting data center construction in the Tahoe-Reno area. The role reports to the Construction Manager or Sr. Construction Manager and emphasizes accuracy, organization, and disciplined follow-up to keep projects status-ready.

With 0–4 years of experience, you will assist in maintaining controls, records, and turnover requirements, surfacing risks early and ensuring commitments are tracked through to closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field OR equivalent practical construction/project experience.
• 0–4 years of construct ion/project experience; owner/operator or developer exposure preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and disciplined documentation and follow-up.
• Familiarity with Procore or equivalent PM systems and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Document Governance: maintain organized, current, retrievable project records.
• Decision & Action Tracking: track owner decisions, open items, and commitments to closure.
• RFI & Submittal Support: log, route, and track RFIs and submittals.
• Reporting: prepare and maintain recurring project reports and status logs.
• Stakeholder Follow-Up: coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Meeting Management: capture notes, record actions and owners, follow up on items.
