Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Administrator to provide administrative and clerical support on construction projects. You will maintain professional relations with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and may supervise the Project Secretary while contributing to the Individual Development Review.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with owner billings and coordinate receipt of owner funds and release of sub payments.
• Assist with project close-out and generate/audit reports (equipment, labor, material, subcontracts, costs).
• Ensure compliance records (certified payroll, minority goals, utilization, daily manpower) are complete and audit-ready.
• Maintain and distribute Billing Status Report; track subcontract changes and budget adjustments.
• May supervise the Project Secretary and participate in their development review.
• On remote projects, coordinate hiring guidelines and onboarding logistics.
• Prepare and set up subcontracts and change orders in project software; process pay apps after PM approval.
• Maintain standard project files and project correspondence; coordinate payables/receivables with Accounting.
• Ensure postings are compliant with posters and policies; manage petty cash as needed.
