Job summary

Sundt Enterprise seeks a Project Engineer to serve as the technical source for project docs, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You’ll support schedule integration, submittals, and change orders while maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and suppliers.

The role covers multiple steps (I, II, Senior) with progression in skill and responsibility and requires strong communication and leadership to supervise Field Engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and standards.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent training with 3–4 years experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand PMP components and change management to ensure project execution.
• Develop procurement schedule and coordinate submittals with trades.
• Manage contract documents, budgets, and cost control within approved budgets.
• Maintain 'As-built' documents and close-out requirements, warranties, manuals.
• Participate in concrete form design and takeoffs for earthwork and utilities.
• Plan, develop, and supervise project team members for relentless execution.
• Prepare quantity reporting, agendas, minutes, and project logs.
• Prepare and review change orders and log them with appropriate personnel.
• Prevent and mitigate claims, quantify impacts, and resolve issues.
