Job summary

Salute Mission Critical is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the PM in managing projects for hyperscale data center clients. The role emphasizes delivering deliverables, daily tasks, and documentation with substantial travel.

The position requires coordinating with PM and project personnel, developing project plans, and monitoring budgets. A home office setup is required and travel to sites is frequent.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination or similar role, construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Ability to travel 50-60% of the time and coordinate with remote teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with project scope of work and pricing.
• Coordinate communication with PM and project personnel.
• Develop CX plans reviewed by PM.
• Develop project schedules for review by PM.
• Review timelines for project deliverables with PM and project team members.
• Populate and organize the project folder with all documentation.
• Communicate with project team on requirements and travel arrangements.
• Participate in project meetings and create meeting minutes.
• Participate in all punch list meetings.
• Assist testing engineers with punch list management.
• Review reporting requirements and prepare templates for the team.
• Monitor project budget and profitability.
• Develop project plans in Smartsheet for PM review.
• Review project status and create invoices in Ajera.
