Job summary

Salute Mission Critical is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the project manager and drive client relationships in data center environments. You will assist with deliverables, day-to-day tasks, and documentation, while coordinating travel and on-site activities across multiple sites in various regions.

The role emphasizes travel of 50–75% (or as local), collaboration with PMs, and creation of schedules, reports, and invoices.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of project management or similar experience
• General understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems
• Must be able to travel 50–60% of the time
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope and pricing
• Coordinate communication with PM and project personnel
• DevelopCx plans reviewed by PM
• Develop project schedules for PM review
• Review timelines for deliverables with PM and team
• Organize project folder with client/EOR/GC docs
• Communicate travel arrangements to team
• Attend meetings and create minutes
• Participate in punch list meetings
• Assist testing engineers with punch list management
• Prepare reporting templates for the team
• Monitor project budget and profitability
• Develop project plans in Smartsheet for PM review
• Review project status and create invoices in Ajera
