Job summary

Salute is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to drive relationships with hyperscale clients and manage data center deployments. The role requires traveling to client locations, coordinating site access, managing budgets, and reporting on progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates will have project leadership experience, familiarity with subcontractor management, and strong technical communication with client POCs.

Qualifications

• Project team lead or management experience to improve customer satisfaction and project profitability.
• Understanding of subcontractor management, project financials, and risk mitigation.
• Technical understanding and communication to peers/management and client POCs.
• Experience coordinating and developing sequence of operations and like documents to support execution team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-project meetings with client's local POC and establishes project goals.
• Traveling to contracted areas and coordinating site access.
• Plans, coordinates travel and site access to ensure timely deployment.
• Verifies daily THAs are performed by the Team Lead before work each day.
• Completes project controls sheet weekly to ensure budgets are met.
• Submits weekly reports to supervisor and delivers post-project reports to the client.
• Reviews/approves timecards and employee expenses weekly.
• Supports new hire onboarding from Talent Acquisition through onboarding.
• Engages with new hires in on-the-job training until competency is met.
• Completes required Talent LMS training and adheres to safety and security standards.
