Job summary

KALCON is hiring a Project Coordinator (Owner’s Representative) for Cedar Rapids, IA to support data center construction projects. You will assist Construction Managers, manage project controls, document flow, and communications with contractors and owners.

The role emphasizes organization, proactive coordination, and detailed documentation in a fast-paced environment, partnering with managers, vendors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience supporting commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
• Experience with project coordinator/administrator roles or similar.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Managers and Project Managers in daily coordination and administration of mission-critical construction projects.
• Review project management systems and track weekly deliverables from General Contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain project correspondence, logs, trackers, and project records.
• Manage RFI, submittal, change order, and item logs.
• Coordinate project meetings including OAC, contractor, commissioning, and owner meetings.
