Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, assistant project management, field engineering, or related roles
• Working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and best practices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, construction-driven environments
• Comfort working onsite and interacting with contractors, vendors, and engineers
• Experience supporting schedules, documentation, and project tracking
• Ability to support daily onsite activities at local project sites and travel up to 30% as required for non-local projects

Responsibilities

• Assist with proposal reviews, scope understanding, and internal project handoff activities
• Develop a working understanding of project scope, schedule objectives, and execution strategy
• Support effective communication between the Project Manager, project team, Construction Manager, Engineering, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Attend and document project meetings, including client, GC, and vendor coordination meetings
• Track action items and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion
• Maintain short-interval schedules, look-ahead plans, and milestone tracking
• Coordinate site readiness activities and support commissioning and closeout phases
• Maintain organized project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and logs
• Assist with change management tracking and documentation under the direction of the Project Manager
• Support cost tracking, forecasts, and Pay Application preparation as needed
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to confirm schedules, deliverables, and documentation requirements
• Clearly escalation issues with supporting details to the Project Manager or Construction Manager
• Become proficient in the use of E TECH GROUP PMO methods, tools, and processes
• Develop a strong understanding of E TECH GROUP's Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) stages
• Participate in the implementation and adoption of new project management tools and processes
