Job summary

Megawatt Construction, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support data hall fit-out projects from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and top-quality results.

You will coordinate with design, procurement, construction teams and clients; oversee documentation, change orders, RFIs, and schedules; conduct site visits to monitor progress and safety; and help identify risks with proactive mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• Minimum 2 years in construction project coordination or related roles.
• PMP certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all phases of data hall fit-out projects (planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs).
• Assist in developing and managing project budgets and schedules within constraints.
• Support quality control processes to ensure compliance with codes and client specs.
• Identify potential project risks and help in developing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
