Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Project Accountant (Data Center Project) to join our team full-time on-site in Umatilla, OR. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, handling accounts payable, receivable, and weekly union payroll for 5–15 employees.

You'll work with Netsuite, Sage, Timberline, Textura, and other accounting software, ensuring ledger accuracy and contributing to monthly closes. This is a contract-to-hire position with onsite parking and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3–5 years in construction or manufacturing accounting.
• Proven analytical skills and ability to work independently under deadlines.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel (vlookups, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with Textura and construction payroll is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process union payroll weekly and support certified payroll tasks.
• Ensure ledger accuracy and reconcile subsidiary accounts to the general ledger.
• Assist with monthly and annual close and prepare consolidated statements.
• Perform complex reconciliations and assist audits.
• Prepare journal entries and correct posting errors.
