Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant for a full-time, 100% onsite role in Downtown Seattle, WA. The position focuses on Accounts Payable with some Accounts Receivable and involves union payroll for 5–15 employees weekly across JD ERP systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3–5 years of construction accounting experience, strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of construction-related accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ledger accuracy and reconcile subsidiary ledgers.
• Assist with monthly/annual close and consolidate statements.
• Perform complex reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and prepare journal entries.
• Work with JD ERP, Textura, Report Now and Pro-Cor software.
• Assist management with reporting and project metrics.
• Review contracts in Pro-Cor systems.
