Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support OFCI Equipment procurement for data center projects. You will engage with vendors, review specifications, and drive submittals to closure while coordinating with Engineering, Operations, and Construction teams.

Travel to factories for tests and onboarding of new vendors is required. The role involves handling RFIs/RFQs, reviewing quotes, and ensuring timely delivery within project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years in supply chain/construction role.
• Data Center, commercial, or industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Aptitude to learn quickly and drive to closure.
• Strong business acumen and sourcing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with procurement team to meet and exceed department goals.
• Review single line diagrams, product specs, and drive OFCI Equipment submittals to closure.
• Understand RFIs/RFQs for sourcing equipment like switchgear, transformers, skids, CRAHs, chillers, gensets, UPSs.
• Coordinate with OFCI vendors on quality improvement and lessons learned.
• Track equipment status with vendors to meet construction schedules.
• Analyze vendor quotes, change orders, and submittals.
• Aim to optimize costs while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Enter POs, review invoices, track budgets in financial software.
• Support Procurement Inventory to update equipment availability.
• Assist in project closeout and invoice resolution.
