Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to join our Ashburn, VA office. You will help manage OFCI equipment, coordinate with vendors, and ensure procurement processes align with project schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or related field and at least three years in supply chain or construction procurement, with data center equipment experience preferred. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, construction science, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience, is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a supply chain or construction role is required.
• Data Center, commercial, or industrial equipment experience is strongly preferred.
• Travel is expected up to 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and operational requirements.
• Work with finance and compliance to ensure all purchases have appropriately been costed to a project.
• Help coordinate the approval and release of the necessary equipment per construction schedule.
• Continue to investigate and work with vendors to make sure their products are best suited for Vantage.
• Support open and transparent communication with project teams for project delivery success.
• Negotiate complex requests for equipment and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage equipment inventory planning efforts and forecasting.
