Job summary

CPG invites an experienced Pre-Sales Electrical Engineer to lead technical design and sales support for mission-critical data center systems in Dallas, TX. You will drive power distribution architectures, UPS implementations, and coordination with procurement to ensure successful project execution.

You will engage with clients from operations through C-suite, translating complex electrical concepts into actionable plans, while collaborating with internal teams to tailor data center solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, electrical design, and power quality systems.
• Extensive expertise in UPS system design, specification, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of data center facility operations and electrical distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical guidance for design and implementation of critical power distribution systems and UPS solutions.
• Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to develop tailored data center solutions.
• Lead early-stage qualification, specification, and logistics planning for data center projects.
• Review project specifications and coordinate with procurement to support estimating efforts.
• Develop comprehensive system configurations and integration plans for reliability and performance.
• Act as liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, explaining complex concepts to operations and executives.
• Identify opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration to enhance service offerings and growth.
