Job summary

Pkaza Data Center Recruiting seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Chicago to design critical power systems for new and expanding data centers. You will lead electrical distribution modeling, coordinate with trades, and develop construction documents using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP.

The role requires extensive experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and battery systems, plus strong project leadership and client communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years experience in electrical engineering for data centers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and deliver electrical design for data centers of varying sizes.
• Lead design teams and coordinate with trades and stakeholders.
• Develop and review electrical distribution topologies and equipment sizes.
• Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP.
• Support commissioning and field observations.
