Job summary

Mission Critical Group in Texas designs, manufactures, and services critical power solutions for data centers, healthcare, and industrial facilities, delivering reliable energy systems that power mission-critical operations.

As a Solutions Architect, you’ll translate customer needs into system-level designs for distributed power, storage, and energy efficiency, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to create technically excellent and financially sound proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical design, pre-sales engineering, or applications engineering within energy, industrial systems, or complex technical environments
• Strong technical foundation with demonstrated ability to learn and master new technologies
• Experience creating technical proposals and customer-facing documentation
• Excellent communication skills—able to present complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences
• Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 30-40%) for customer meetings and site visits

Responsibilities

• Design complete power and energy systems that meet customer technical requirements while achieving financial objectives
• Perform dynamic modeling and engineering analysis to validate system performance
• Develop project scope definitions, equipment specifications, and technical documentation
• Conduct value engineering to optimize solutions for cost, performance, and reliability
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to craft winning technical proposals
• Support contract negotiations with technical expertise and clarifications
