Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance in the design and implementation of critical power distribution systems, including UPS solutions and backup power infrastructure for data centers.
• Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to develop tailored solutions for prospective and existing clients.
• Lead early-stage qualification, specification, and logistics planning for data center projects.
• Support estimating efforts by reviewing project specifications and coordinating with procurement teams.
• Develop comprehensive system configurations and integration plans to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Serve as a key liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration to enhance service offerings and support business growth.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project leadership to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, electrical design, and power quality systems.
• Extensive expertise in UPS system design, specification, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of data center facility operations and electrical distribution.
• Knowledge of bonding, grounding, lightning protection, and surge suppression.
• Advanced technical writing skills for documentation, proposals, and project specifications.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept through execution, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with all organizational levels, including field operations and executive leadership.
• Experience with Eaton, Schneider Electric, or other leading power system providers (preferred).
• Prior experience managing large enterprise accounts within the data center industry (preferred).
• Familiarity with commissioning procedures for mission-critical facilities (preferred).
• Familiarity with electrical class ratings (F0 – F4) regarding redundancy, capacity, expandability, maintainability, survivability, and quality.
• Master Electrician License (preferred).
