CPG is seeking a seasoned Pre-Sales Electrical Engineer to drive technical design, sales support, and project execution for mission-critical data center infrastructure in Dallas, TX. You will specialize in power systems, UPS equipment, and related solutions, collaborating with sales, engineering, procurement, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, electrical design, and power quality systems.
• Extensive expertise in UPS system design, specification, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of data center facility operations and electrical distribution.
• Strong understanding Bonding, Grounding, Lightning Protection, and surge Suppression.
• Advanced technical writing skills for documentation, proposals, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical guidance for design and implementation of critical power distribution systems and supporting electrical systems including UPS solutions.
• Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to develop tailored client solutions.
• Lead early-stage qualification, specification, and logistics planning for data center projects.
• Review project specifications and coordinate with procurement to support estimating efforts.
• Develop comprehensive system configurations and integration plans for optimal performance.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders from operations to executive leadership.
• Identify and pursue cross-department opportunities to enhance service offerings.
