Job summary

nVent is seeking a technical lead to partner with customers, sales and engineering to turn real-world challenges into practical data center power solutions. You will serve as a domain authority for Smart Power Solutions and provide first‑line product support.

Based in the US, the role allows 100% remote work with 30–50% travel across the US and Canada. A bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering and 5+ years in a data center power context are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in data center power systems.
• 5+ years in a technical applications role supporting Data Center power solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as domain authority for nVent Smart Power Solutions across Sales, Product Management and Operations.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues.
• Evaluate RFIs/RFQs and provide technical application assistance for pre/post sales.
• Lead training for customers and prepare required documentation including RMAs.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify best-fit products and plan activities with the Sales Leader.
