Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division seeks an Application Engineer to support consultants and in-house engineers across multiple Texas locations. You’ll work on critical power systems, medium/low voltage distribution, and collaborate with design teams in data centers and hyperscale markets.

Ideal candidates have strong technical and commercial skills, 7+ years experience, and PE/LEED credentials. Travel up to 25% and leadership in product applications are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Seven years of electrical sales/marketing or engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25%.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation benefits offered.
• Candidate within 50-mile radius of Austin, Grapevine, Houston or San Antonio.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical consultants and in-house staff on critical power infrastructure.
• Be the primary technical and engineering contact for assigned accounts.
• Provide expert support across Eaton's product portfolio and mentor sales engineers.
• Lead submittals, drawings, and technical interpretation on large bids.
• Deliver product seminars and training to consultants and end users.
