Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking an Application Engineer to support electrical consultants and in-house engineers across multiple Texas cities. The role emphasizes technical leadership in critical power systems, power distribution, and related products.

The ideal candidate combines strong electrical engineering knowledge with sales aptitude, enabling effective collaboration with consultants and end users in data centers, commercial, institutional, and hyperscale markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum seven (7) years of electrical sales/marketing and/or engineering experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation benefits offered; candidates must be within 50 miles of Austin, Grapevine, Houston, or San Antonio.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical consultants and in-house engineering staff with critical power infrastructure.
• Act as technical expert and provide design recommendations for Eaton products.
• Lead technical seminars and training for consultants and end customers.
• Mentor Gulf Region Sales Engineers and other staff across NAS.
